About This Project

Bebbo is a parenthood app which provides advice to parents of new-borns by showing them that Unicef know and understand the importance of these crucial (first) years.

Role: Designer – PS/AE

Date: 2022-2023

The goal: 

Download a free Bebbo app for expert advice and tools on health, nutrition, development, play, parenting and other topics about children from 0 to 6 years.

Design principles:

Strategic approach:

1. See – Campaign. Telling the Bebbo Story via rich hero creatives that will grab the attention of  and build (emotional) engagement. Focusing on parents needs.
2. Think – Always on. Capturing demand from warm prospects and building preference with messaging that showcases relevant topics.
3. Do – Always on. Driving to downloads in the most efficient way possible, harnessing signals from owned data sources to tailor messaging and optimization.
3. Organic. Fun content (games) and informative content (advice)
Fun Content focusing on: Socio-emotional, Cognitive, Language & Communication and Motor.
Informative content focusing on: Health & Wellbeing, Safety & Protection, Responsive parenting, Play & Learning, Nutrition and Parenting corner.

Conclusion:

I decided to challenge myself by submitting a design with a ‘green, strong and professional’ response to the user.
As for workflow, I would have tested more along the design process by conducting a usability test in the wireframe phase if I had access to users that reflected the user.
On reflection, the project focus was aimed at UI design, so I concentrated on building that strong knowledge and practical base.
